Discover the Art of Chinese Cooking: Market Tour, Cooking Class & Tea Tasting in Shanghai What You’ll Do: Explore a Local Market We’ll start with a visit to a bustling Shanghai wet market, where you’ll discover fresh, seasonal ingredients and learn how locals shop for their daily meals. Hands-On Cooking Class Back at our cooking studio, you’ll learn to prepare 4 traditional Chinese dishes: 2 meat dishes (e.g., Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork) 2 vegetable dishes (e.g., Stir-Fried Seasonal Greens) Our expert chef will guide you step-by-step through stir-frying, and seasoning, teaching you essential Chinese cooking techniques. Depending on the dishes, we’ll pair your creations with either steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy Your Homemade Feast Sit down and savor the dishes you’ve prepared, enjoying the rich flavors and aromas of authentic Chinese cuisine. Chinese Tea Tasting & Culture After the meal, we’ll introduce you to the art of Chinese tea. You’ll taste a carefully selected Chinese tea (e.g., Jasmine, Oolong, or Pu’er) and learn about its history, brewing methods, and cultural significance
