Experience the best of Portugal's central region on a private tour that takes you on a captivating journey from the stunning Douro Valley to the vibrant capital city of Lisbon. The tour starts with a visit to the renowned Aliança Underground Museum, where you'll learn about the Aliança Velha brandy and sample sparkling wines. Next, head to the picturesque town of Aveiro, with an optional boat trip through its enchanting canals. From there, visit the medieval village of Óbidos to explore the magnificent castle and taste the local Ginja delicacy. The next stop is the Mariquinhas Ginja production factory, where you'll see the sour liqueur's intricate brewing process.

The tour concludes with the drop-off in Lisbon.


Please note that on weekends, the Mariquinhas Ginja factory is closed, but we offer an alternative with a visit to Nazaré and its renowned giant waves.

Alianca Underground Museum

The Aliança Underground Museum is an exhibition space that takes place along the traditional cellars of Aliança Vinhos de Portugal. Comprising eight distinct collections, this museological equipment covers areas such as archaeology, ethnography, mineralogy, paleontology, tiles, and ceramics, covering an impressive time span of millions of years. It is the first underground museum in Portugal that combines art with wine. Inserted in the great universe of the Berardo collection, the museum's collections result from the constant care of the collector José Berardo, in immunizing pieces and works of art, of multiple origins and species, with sometimes historical and sometimes sentimental meanings.

LicÓbidos opens its doors to share a unique experience in a familiar environment. It invites you to discover the family history of the Mariquinhas brand and hear the explanation of everything the production process of the famous ginja de Óbidos - Ginja Mariquinhas, from the harvest of the fruit tasting, and may be involved in some stages of packaging or labeling.
