A walk through the vineyards to experience stories and flavors of the fertile slopes of Mount Vesuvius. A tour of a terraced vineyard with a panoramic view over the entire Gulf of Naples and the whole estate, as well as a visit to a natural cave dating back the 1037 eruption (the oldest cellar in the Vesuvian area), where the ceiling and walls are formed of solidified lava rock. A guided tasting of three wines each expressing the unique character of the volcanic soil alongside with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, assorted grilled vegetables, bruschetta, and sweet biscuits, the perfect sweet ending to an authentic Vesuvian food and wine experience.

Great experience, and not just for the wine!

This is a small-scale winery with nearly 300 years of its own history and a wine cave that was formed over a thousand years ago. Gennaro was very welcoming and gave us a pleasant walk through the vineyards and the winery itself. This was followed by a pleasant brunch under an arbor, paired with three different wines they make.
