Thicker Than Water Cellar Door 10/10

This would have to be one of our favourite Cellar Doors in McLaren Vale! Such a beautiful family owned winery. Laura at the Cellar Door was so friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about their wines and the process behind it all. The Cellar Door is gorgeous with sweeping views of the vineyards out of every window, and we even got to choose a record to listen to upon arrival! 🎶🎵 Child friendly too with games outside for the kiddies!😁 A truly quirky memorable experience! EXCEPTIONAL!

Laura was an EXCEPTIONAL host! From the moment we spontaneously entered the super-chic venue to the minute we departed through the garden, Laura was spot-on in meeting our tasting wants+needs. ALL of the wines we tried were DECADENT! The views while tasting are 360* of the vineyards! An extra fun detail was our choice in vinyl records played during our experience. A MUST-DO!

Fantastic winery

What a fantastic little gem of a place! Fantastic wines and a beautiful setting with the unique addition of being able to select your own tasting glass and music on the record player! Mel was so attentive and made the experience so much better! Thank you

Tastier than water

We were keen to visit this cellar door due to having enjoyed these wines previously. We were greeted by John, one of the winery’s owners, who took us through his fabulous range of award winning wines. The tasting room is funky too. Definitely worth adding to your list of cellar doors to visit in McLaren Vale.
