People born and bred in Rome love shopping at the Saturday market. This is a tradition that still endures and is deeply felt. You will have the opportunity to live this unique experience with a local Chef Guide.
To start with you will be treated to a Roman traditional pastry that will give you the right boost to experience an unforgettable tour. This will be followed by a food walk among the stalls of one of Rome's most genuine markets, where local producers sell unique products that are often impossible to find elsewhere. The walk will be marked by tastings and meetings with the proud local producers.
The market is located just a stone's throw from the core of ancient Rome, between the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus, a place of rare beauty, and stands on a space that housed the old fish market in the 1800s. After the walking tour you can enjoy a lunch of typical recipes prepared by a renowned Agrichef and her staff. You can enjoy a tasty traditional lunch in the outdoor courtyard of the market, which every weekend hosts passionate foodies from around the world.
