Good to Know

Depart from the city center of Bordeaux to discover the most beautiful vineyards of both banks, for a day. To start, you will visit Saint-Emilion with your guide, including a tour of this village classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its historical monuments. You will visit a first Château and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines, an opportunity to understand the specificities of the Saint-Emilion appellation. After the tasting, you will enjoy a picnic in the Château : on the menu, local, artisanal and tasty products. In the afternoon, you will stop by the famous Chateau Margaux, an opportunity to take a photo before heading to a Margaux Grand Cru Classé Château where you will enjoy a tasting of 3 wine. This small group tour in an ideal setting to learn about the art of wine, to discover the 2 main wine regions in Bordeaux, and to ask your questions to our guide in a convivial atmosphere!

It is imperative to arrive 15 minutes before the departure time of your tour, no delay possible, to ensure the comfort of the group and the respect of the schedule.

Mia’s wine tour and tasting

Wine tasting in Bordeaux region of France

Valentin was outstanding. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable guide. He was very accommodating as well. Wineries were outstanding and we got to try one from each region- Saint Emilion, Margaux and Medoc. More driving than we expected but the van was new and very comfortable. 10 out of 10 for us!!

The itinirary covers both Saint Emilion and Margaux, offering a broad overview of Bordeaux wines. On a futur visit (hoping you'll come back), our full day Saint Emilion tour offers less driving and you'll see more châteaux of the right bank. Valentin will be happy to see you again !

A fantastic wine experience

Amazing left and right bank wine experience. Antoine was excellent and extremely knowledgeable and affable. All vineyards provided a great tasting but we particularly enjoyed the Chateau Haut Rocher experience, where the host was awesome. We even got a blast of Abba between vineyards and Antoine’s was something to behold!! Thank you Olala Bordeaux.

A day in wine country

This is a great tour if you have a full day to explore the Bordeaux wine region. We visited both the Saint Emilion and the Medoc region. An added bonus was a free tasting 2 white sparkling wines and a Rose before we got to our first Chateaux. In total we tasted 13 wines. Our lunch in the middle of the Vinyard under trees was delicious. Our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of good information about the region.

Fantastic experience

Truly fantastic tour. The company gladly changed our itinerary to fit with our previous tour in the area. Our guide was wonderful, funny and so very knowledgeable. The lunch was lovely. It was a delightful day.
