Good to Know
Fall baking gets a creative makeover with cookies, colorful icing and plenty of room to play. At a welcoming local brewery, you’ll learn how to decorate autumn-themed cookies from start to finish, even if your previous piping experience begins and ends with squeezing ketchup.
Begin by getting familiar with royal icing and learning how to handle a piping bag with better control. Then outline and flood your cookies, building smooth icing layers before adding decorative details and seasonal designs. You’ll practice steady piping, filling, layering and finishing techniques that you can use for future holiday bakes and celebrations. Chef Mimi keeps the workshop approachable and relaxed, giving you plenty of freedom to make each cookie your own. By the end, you’ll have a collection of festive decorated cookies, new decorating skills and a fun creative break from the usual fall routine.

Grab your piping bag and get ready to make cookies almost too cute to eat. In a cozy local brewery, you’ll decorate festive autumn cookies while learning simple techniques that make homemade treats look seriously impressive.
Start by learning how to work with royal icing, then practice piping, outlining and filling your cookies with smooth, colorful designs. You’ll build your decorating skills step by step, from controlling the pressure on your piping bag to adding finishing details that bring each cookie to life. The relaxed pace keeps things beginner-friendly, so you can experiment, get creative and enjoy the occasional icing mishap without panic. With Chef Mimi guiding the process, you’ll create a batch of autumn-inspired cookies that look great on a dessert table and taste even better. The hardest part? Deciding whether to eat your masterpiece or take a picture first.
