We kick off our journey from Chania and head towards the foothills of the White Mountains.

Our initial halt brings us to the revered Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration (Moni Metemorfoseos), where we delve into its historic premises. Following this, we embark on a leisurely stroll through a picturesque gorge adorned with quaint chapels and ancient churches, enveloped by towering pine trees.

Continuing our expedition, we reach a local winery, where we unravel the secrets of Crete's esteemed wine production. Here, indulge in tastings of the region's signature wine varieties, accompanied by delectable local treats such.

Our journey proceeds to the shores of Agia Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the Chania region, teeming with diverse birdlife and unique flora. Pause for a serene moment, sipping coffee or enjoying a refreshing beverage against the backdrop of the stunning lake views.
