Our venue, “The Greek cooking lab”, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels just like home, located in one of Athens’ most vibrant and historic districts. It's conveniently situated just a short 5-minute walk from the Monastiraki metro station. Your culinary hands-on experience will be guided by an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who brings traditional Greek family recipes to life.

After our cooking is completed, you'll enjoy the homemade meal you have crafted, accompanied by a glass of local wine and of course your fellow food enthusiasts (groups are max 8 persons) — no need to worry about cleanup, we’ve got that covered!

If you have any dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten free, allergies), please let us know through the messaging system at least 1 day in advance, as we’re unable to accommodate last-minute requests.

What You’ll Experience

We meet at our cooking studio and we start our culinary journey with a walk in the Athens Central Market -6 min on foot from the studio- in order to get a first taste of Greek gastronomic traditions and habits. (Market tour’s estimated duration: ~30 min. The market tour is available only in Mon-Sat morning tours, when the Central Market is open). We return to the studio and begin our hands-on cooking experience, creating a Greek traditional menu consisted of 5 courses. While cooking, we enjoy the lively rhythms of Greek music and a glass of excellent local wine. We then sit down to a delightful meal featuring the courses you crafted, just like being invited to a Greek home for dinner!
