A nice, full day trip from Christchurch

This was a private tour--just my husband and I--in a very nice car for a drive north of Christchurch to visit three wineries, on to Hanmer Springs town for lunch and then on to the hot spring pools. Lunch was fantastic at the Rustic Café (beautiful tapas!!) and a PRIVATE hot springs pool was reserved for us to use for 30 min. After that we had a couple hours to relax in all the other pools.
