What You’ll Experience

Luong Dinh Pavilion (Pass By)

Nghinh Luong Pavilion, built in 1818, once served as a resting place for emperors, a venue to welcome envoys, and a ceremonial site before boarding the royal barge—symbolizing the harmony between the Imperial Court and the river, between authority and elegance. Just behind it stands Phu Van Lau, where royal decrees were posted and examination results announced. This pavilion represents knowledge, legitimacy, and transparency in the governance of the imperial court.

Perfume River (Pass By)

The Perfume River (Huong River) is the cultural and historical lifeline of Hue, Vietnam's former imperial capital. Flowing through the heart of the city, it connects many of Hue's most treasured landmarks, including the Imperial Citadel, ancient pagodas, royal tombs, and traditional villages. Renowned for its serene beauty and poetic atmosphere, the river offers a unique perspective on Hue's rich heritage, where history, culture, and nature come together in one unforgettable landscape.

Cầu Nguyễn Hoàng (Pass By)

Nguyen Hoang Bridge is Hue's newest landmark, gracefully spanning the Perfume River. Inspired by the image of cranes facing Thien Mu Pagoda and the moon reflected on the river, its elegant arches blend contemporary design with Hue's cultural identity, offering spectacular views by day and illuminated beauty at night.

Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted (Pass By)

Founded in 1896, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted is one of Vietnam's oldest and most prestigious schools. Known for its distinctive French colonial architecture and striking red buildings, the school has educated many prominent leaders, scholars, and cultural figures. Located along the Perfume River, it stands as a symbol of Hue's rich educational heritage and intellectual tradition.

Truong Tien Bridge (Pass By)

Truong Tien Bridge is one of Hue's most iconic landmarks, spanning the Perfume River in the heart of the city. Designed by engineers associated with Gustave Eiffel and completed in 1899, the bridge features six elegant steel arches and has witnessed more than a century of Hue's history. Illuminated at night, Truong Tien Bridge offers stunning views of the river and remains a beloved symbol of the city's cultural heritage and timeless charm.
