If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would. This was an amazing experience made more special by being hosted in Lela's beautiful home. This was such an incredible experience. Chef Lela was so warm and welcoming. She taught the history behind jerk before we got to make it. The food was amazing. I had an entire feast and an amazing conversation!! I’m so so so glad that I came and will absolutely be doing this again next time I’m back in Fort Lauderdale!!! Cannot recommend enough 💕

My time with Lela was wonderful. I had the pleasure of enjoying the experience all by myself, and Lela made it just as amazing as I imagine she does when she has a kitchen full of guests. Lela was so hospitable! It was a joy to meet her in her lovely home and learn about the culture and foods of Jamaica. She is truly a gifted and talented chef as well as a green thumb! Leila was an amazing host! We loved the experience of the private setting. She is a very warm and professional host. She treated us like guests in her home as you would treat your friends and family.
