She walked us through the history of coffee and the important role it played in Turkish history and how it was shared with Europe. She made the knowledge sharing fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the class and my first self brewed Turkish coffee was delicious.
Great workshop experience - took about 1.5 hours. Hosts were excellent and provided great background on the history of coffee alongside the actual workshop itself.

Petek was such a wonderful teacher! She is a local, and knows so much about Istanbul, Turkey, and coffee. I learned so much from her, and she had such a wonderful personality. I would take this class again in a heartbeat. Perfect English, so kind, and very funny. 10/10 all day!
We did this activity as a family (mom, dad, and 2 kids) and absolutely loved it. We learned a lot about Turkish coffee, and the fortune telling was a very fun and entertaining group experience. Our instructor was engaging, kind, and welcoming. They even give you Turkish coffee cup and saucer set which looks very cute.
