Join a small group of enthusiasts and discover the mysterious world of the Istrian truffle with a truffle hunter and a skilled dog. Learn the secrets of truffles, including what they are, where they are found, and the differences between them, how to pick them, how to raise a truffle dog, and the conditions for harvesting truffles. Discover why searching for truffles with pigs is prohibited in some countries, about the prices, where to buy them, and how to keep them fresh. Get answers questions you may have.
Your purchase includes a truffle hunting experience. You can upgrade it to exceptional culinary journey and learn the authentic (vs sintetic) taste of fresh truffles, cook a traditional Istrian dish richly decorated with truffles, and enjoy excellent Istrian Malvazija.
To participate in the culinary experience, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so that we can check availability. The additional fee is €50 per person and is payable directly to the host upon arrival.
