Your tour of Bayview Kona Coffee Farm begins beneath the shade of coffee trees, where your knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the unique species of coffee grown exclusively in Kona. You’ll learn about the life cycle of a coffee tree, challenges the region faces (like pests and fungus), and the rich volcanic soil that makes Kona coffee world-famous. From there, walk past mango, avocado, banana, and tea plants as you make your way to our on-site mill and drying facility. See the entire coffee process firsthand—from harvesting to hulling, grading, and roasting. You'll even see our USDA-classifying machine and gravity table, which are unique to our farm. The tour concludes at our roasting room and tasting area, where you’ll sample some of the freshest 100% Kona coffee available, roasted on-site just days before.
