Visit Adega Monte do Além, a winery located near the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve, with a small lake home to flamingos and storks. Learn about the estate’s history, which began in 2002, and discover how it cultivates traditional grape varieties, including Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Grenache, and Syrah. This year we started a new project with 4 other local wine producers, Quinta da Penina, Al-Mudd Wines, Falesia Wines and Vale de Almadena Wines, therefore people can get an unique experience of tasting 5 different wines at only one location. We have a selection of 5 reserve / premium / selection local made wines from rosé, whites and red at your choosing and/or taste. Our wines combine portuguese grapes such as Touriga Nacional and Negra Mole, for red wines, and Arinto, Verdelho and Siria for whites, blended with the tradional grape varieties. Sample a selection of Portuguese tapas, including cheese, charcuterie, and other products. Vegetarian options are also available. Wine is only served for adults (18 to 99) we have non alcoholic beverages for minors.
