Fresh sushi tastes even better when every roll is made by your own hands. This fun, hands-on cooking class combines simple techniques, quality ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere into a meal that's just as enjoyable to create as it is to eat.


You'll learn how to prepare perfectly seasoned sushi rice before assembling a classic California roll with crab, avocado and cucumber. Next, you'll create a spicy salmon roll, practicing how to balance fillings, roll everything tightly with a bamboo mat and cut each piece for a polished finish. Along the way, you'll build practical skills you can easily recreate at home, from rice preparation and rolling techniques to slicing and presentation. The atmosphere stays light, social and encouraging, making it easy to learn at your own pace. Whether you're looking for a unique night out or a new kitchen skill, you'll leave with fresh sushi, new confidence and a solid reason to keep a bamboo mat in your kitchen drawer.

What You’ll Experience

Forget the sushi counter—you'll be the one rolling today. In a relaxed, welcoming venue, this hands-on cooking class shows you how surprisingly approachable sushi making can be, whether it's your first roll or your fiftieth. You'll start by preparing and seasoning sushi rice, the foundation of every great roll. Then you'll work with fresh ingredients to build two sushi favorites: a California roll filled with crab, avocado and cucumber, plus a spicy salmon roll packed with fresh salmon and a flavorful spicy filling. You'll learn how to use a bamboo mat, spread the rice evenly, layer ingredients, roll with confidence and slice each roll into clean, bite-sized pieces. Every step is beginner-friendly, and every roll gets a little better than the last. Then it's time to enjoy the sushi you created from scratch. Grocery store sushi might start feeling a little less exciting after this.
