Great introduction to Merida!

Annette was very kind and asked if we wanted to look at something in particular. She asked about allergies, which was nice. She explained the culture behind each food and how it was made as well as telling us about the two markets. The short tour was enough to fill us up with four dishes, one drink, fruit, and a dessert. Overall the food tour was an amazing way to get to know about the place we were in, and we knew what to order for the rest of our trip since we did the tour on the first day!

A fun and delicious tour weith a wonderful guide

Fernando was a great guide--friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable--and the food was delicious! We enjoyed learning about the market and buying some spices and other small items.

Must try food experience

It was such a great experience we learned so much about not only the food but the history our tour guide was so nice and friendly and so helpful! It made us appreciate the history of Merida so much more. I highly recommend it!

Tasty and informative

Our guide Sylvie was knowledgeable and animated. She brought us through the Lucas de Galvez market where we enjoyed many new foods and a delicious agua fresca. It was a good introduction to the market and foods...a perfect way to start our stay in Merida.
