Experience Details

We meet in Hanoi Old Quarter and follow your guide on foot into the bustling streets. This palace is brimming with simple family-run restaurants and street-food stalls, many with tables on the sidewalks.

In between walking and talking, stop to taste up to 10 specialties. Your tastings will amount to lunch or dinner (depending on your selected option), and vegetarian and other dietary options are available.

You expect to try dishes, such as Vietnamese baguettes, beef noodle soup, summer rolls, steamed rice pancakes. As you eat, learn about the ingredients and history of the dishes from your guide, and soak up the enticing food aromas and vibrant street scenes.

What You’ll Experience

The guide will pick you up at your hotel located in The Old Quarter. If not, the time and meeting point will be provided to you. We will have 3 hours walking around every single corners of Hanoi Old Quarter where we can seat on a small plastic chairs and using chopsticks like a local people. You’ll explore the culture, history of Hanoi, step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out around 8 different dishes at local food stand, family restaurants… A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options. Based on the hotel i pick up you and your request, i will take you to different places and enjoy food. So please give me more details if you are vegetarian or food you prefer to have.
