Private Day trip from Paris to Champagne region by Mercedes with Hotel Pick up. English Guided Cellars visit with tastings at Moet et Chandon and at Veuve Clicquot made by the Champagne houses staff. We offer MOST POPULAR and ADVANCED options, see Description in the Itinerary.

07:30 Hotel Pick up and Departure destination Champagne region. The ride takes about 2 hours (140 km) and one part of it goes along the picturesque Champagne landscapes and vineyards. One stop at a rest area will be made. IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will be served by our experienced chauffeur who is responsible to bring You to all places on time providing the entrance tickets, but he is not a guide. You will have English Guided tours at two Champagne houses made by experienced local staff. Anyway a Live guide coming with You along the whole trip is available for a surcharge to be booked in advance.

10:00 - 12:00 Guided tour at Moet et Chandon including the underground cellars visit and tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne due to the chosen Option. We offer You different Experiences by Moet et Chandon and Veuve Clicquot: MOST POPULAR Option includes by Moet et Chandon "SIGNATURE" Experience up to 15 people: Moët Imperial and Grand Vintage. 12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break in Épernay. You can spent time of your own or we can make a restaurant reservation for You. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne surrounded by the wine hills it is Home to many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for wine and champagne lovers. Walking along the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists. 13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village. It takes 10 minutes (6 km)

Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers

13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Abbey's Church of Saint-Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river. 14:10 Departure to Reims. It takes 30 minutes (28 km).

Veuve Clicquot

14:45 - 16:15 Veuve Clicquot Champagne house visit. Existing since 1772 Veuve Clicquot produces nowadays more that 22 million bottles per year. Guided tour though the cellars made by Veuve Clicquot staff gives You great insight into the history and Champagne production method. Tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne completes this experience.
