This experience offers an authentic look into one of Naples’ most iconic pastry traditions in the unique setting of San Gregorio Armeno. Through multimedia storytelling and a live artisan demonstration, you will learn the history, ingredients, and techniques behind sfogliatella riccia, sfogliatella frolla, and the rare Santa Patrizia version. Unlike a simple tasting, the experience combines local culture, pastry heritage, artisan know-how, and a tasting of traditional Neapolitan sweets with explanations from the master artisan.

Enter the world of Neapolitan sfogliatelle in the heart of San Gregorio Armeno, one of Naples’ most iconic streets, known for its artisan workshops and authentic atmosphere. The experience begins with multimedia storytelling dedicated to the origins, legends, and evolution of this historic pastry, from the classic sfogliatella riccia to the softer frolla and the rare Santa Patrizia version, linked to ancient Neapolitan convent traditions. A master artisan will welcome you and lead a live demonstration, showing the gestures, ingredients, techniques, and care required to prepare these traditional pastries. You will observe the process closely and learn how each variety differs in texture, filling, history, and flavour. This is not a hands-on cooking class, but an immersive artisan demonstration combined with storytelling and tasting. At the end, you will taste Santa Patrizia sfogliatella, sfogliatella riccia, sfogliatella frolla, mini babà, artisanal coffee liqueur, citrus liqueur, and enjoy a drink of your choice between moka coffee, cappuccino, fresh orange juice, or water.
