Ever wanted to hang out in a Bacaro, a local Venetian bar and learn all about the wine that you are drinking, how it's made, where it comes from with local Venetians? You're in luck this tour does just that!

Enjoy a Prosecco adventure with a connoisseur of natural wines and a local owner of a bacaro in the heart of Venice!

We will start this private tour with a walk through the streets of Venice in the meeting place that you prefer! It will be an opportunity for a brief introduction to Venice, its millenary history and its lifestyle.

After that we will meet the owner of a Venetian bacaro specialized in natural wines only, located off the tourist paths in a quiet and charming campo in Cannaregio.

This Prosecco tasting will cover the historic fermentation process of this sparkling wine. You will learn and taste at the same time! The wines will be completely natural from growing grapes to fermenting and won't give you any hangover!

What You’ll Experience

We will pick you up at your hotel or accomodation in Venice and will wander through venetian calles and wine history to the local "bacaro" wine bar. In a off the beaten path location we will start our wine tasting at a local venetian Bacaro, dedicated to "Prosecco" and its historical methods of fermentation and refermentation. The tasting includes 5 tasting sessions of 4 cl of the following wines: ⁃ At Fondo, Alice's Vineyards ⁃ Vinel, Az. Agr. Three Mat ⁃ Tainot, Matervi ⁃ Doro Brut Natur, Alice's Vineyards ⁃ Finalized, Az. Agr. Three Mat These wine tasting will be paired with these traditional Venetian cicchetti: ⁃ Sardines in Saor (sardines marinated in vinagre, onions and raisins) ⁃ Soppressa Veneta (traditional soft salami) ⁃ Baccalà Mantecato (traditional creamed cod) The experience will end with a 10 cl glass of your choice among those proposed in the tasting
