+989 photosGreat activity. I was solo, which was fine. Dianne was our chef and very good. Enjoyed hearing about her background. I liked her philosophy on how she would make the recipes slightly differently at home, and make the recipes with substitutions/whatever you have in the house. Food was great! Would suggest not pairing jambalaya and gumbo in same class. Very similar dishes.
This class was so good! Even though there were a lot of people, the presenter gave a ton of interaction. He was also so funny. We had just gotten off a cruise and saw two comedians and Chef was much funnier than both of those. He was also very knowledgeable which made the class even more fun.
We participated in a demonstration class with chef Eric. He demonstrated to our group how to make chicken, gumbo, jambalaya, and pralines. He included some history about New Orleans food, and a fantastic job at explaining not the nuts and bolts, but also why things were done in a certain way. We had a wonderful experience at the New Orleans Cooking School with Chef Tom!! You will definitely enjoy watching him prepare dishes such as gumbo, jambalaya pralines! Then you get to eat the dishes made!! I would recommend this experience to everyone.
Chef was very informative and each dish was totally delicious.
