First time in New York? Join us on this crash course of NYC’s most famous foods. Explore some of NYC’s favorite neighborhoods and taste some of the most iconic foods in New York!

On the West Village tour, you’ll discover why New Yorkers fold their pizza before eating it, why the black and white cookie is considered a symbol of peace and the difference between Gray’s Papaya, Papaya Dog and Papaya King.

This informative, but fun on the go experience is part food tour and part scavenger hunt. If you’re looking for a food tour to complete your trip to NYC or looking for something fun to do on the weekend, this is it.

Murray's Bagels

In the late nineteenth century, bagels were introduced to America and, one hundred years later, with the help of several food entrepreneurs, including Murray’s Bagels, the first stop on our tour, they became a household name. On this stop, we’ll learn a bit about the bagel making process, as well as find out, firsthand, why Murray's Bagels is considered the gold standard for this doughy breakfast treat!

Magnolia Bakery

What did one tourist say to another about New York-style cheesecake? If you can bake it there, you can bake it anywhere. Jokes aside, did you know cheesecake is the official dessert of New York City? That’s correct. This creamy and indulgent treat is the pride and joy of New Yorkers and a must have when you’re in town. Perhaps there’s no better way to end a food tour than with a visit to Magnolia Bakery, a cupcake pioneer and dessert extraordinaire. For more than 25 years, this iconic bakery has been making delicious baked goods for every taste and is, now, as synonymous with New York as the Empire State Building, making it the perfect place to learn about New York cheesecake and indulge in this sweet treat.
