Walk around the historical centre, tune into urban stories and backstreets, taste traditional “Mezedes” (local tapas) and enjoy the best local spirits at different venues, in an Athens just known to the local people! - Go on a twilight walking tour of Athens on a small group - Visit sightseeing and famous squares and hear urban myths and legends about one of the oldest cities in the world - Discover three different local bars and sample awarded Greek wines and local spirits such as, ouzo, raki, and tsipouro. - Enjoy a plate of traditional meze, Greece’s local tapas.

Guests pickup is offered for the private group option. Pick up time adjustable upon your request. We will meet you at your Athens hotel lobby or at the Piraeus port. Our guide will be holding a sign with your name.
How you help the local community by joining this tour: - Local culinary traditions are preserved by visiting 100% locally owned stores that serve traditional Greek dishes. The food sampled during the tour is sourced from the Greek countryside.
Food Allergies: Unless you suffer from multiple, combined food allergies, or unless you are a vegan, we will figure it out. Vegetarians are welcome on all tours.
Please wear comfortable shoes for walking.

A must-do tour!

Theo was a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable about the historical and cultural aspects of central Athens - with a great sense of humour. He showed us streets, restaurants and bohemian sights which we would never have found - or indeed explored - on our own. A great evening and an unforgettable experience.

An Absolute Must

Definitely would recommend Athens Local Adventures and their Nightlife Athens Tour. Our guide Grecian’s high energy and deep knowledge of modern Athens as well as its deep history was unmatched. Our small group never felt like a bunch of strangers, but more like friends and family doing a night on the town. A great way to see the city, feel the culture and would do this every time we come to Athens.

Delicious, Highly Recommended Tour

Yet another amazing tour! Great way to see the city! Learn the ins and outs and go beyond the normal city sights

This is my second time doing this tour with Theo and let me tell you, he just keeps getting better! I did this tour with my family back in 2017 and again with my wife in 2023. Both times, Theo takes the time to learn your name, where your from and adapt the tour to the group and the people that he is guiding. From the last time to the most recent time, the tour expanded to a longer and larger tour with more sights, more food and the best drinking spots in Athens! Fabulous way to spend your evening!

Theodore was so fun and energetic! He is passionate about Athens as a city and it’s amazing food! It was the perfect combination of night life walking tour combined with amazing food, hand picked from a variety of locations. We had an amazing time and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone.
