Good to Know

During the morning tour, you will do the market with your guide, then you will go prepare with him the Tahitian raw fish, before tasting it in a garden, like a picnic. Then you will finish with a guided tour of the city of Papeete. The night tour you will visit Papeete during one hour and then you will prepare the Tahitian raw fish with the coconut milk.

Raw fish with coconut milk. Depending on the availability, roasted pig (week-end only), fruit, lemonade or coconut, firifiri (Tahitian donut).

Fun and informative!

Highly recommend this tour! We really enjoyed preparing the meal in the garden and will definitely try to make it again on our own. You also get to learn about Papeete city and culture as a bonus from Christian who is such a kind person! He showed us around and even helped us even though it was out of his way.

Best Tour of Papeete

What a great personalized tour. Christian was a wonderful guide with outstanding knowledge of the culture and history of Tahiti. The food preparation and experience was only the beginning of a great tour. The walking tour through Papeete was excellent. He grew up on the vary streets we walked. If you can spare a few hours on the island of Tahiti, you don’t want to miss this fun and educational experience.

not good for a hot day

Christian was very nice and tried to accommodate us. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day for walking and there were no tables at the park to eat our lunch at.
