We start the tour from the Roman Baths in Villa Flavia where you will get to know the history of one of the newest tourist sites in Plovdiv with a glass of Bulgarian sparkling wine in hand. That’s where we will introduce you to the thousand-year-old wine history of Bulgaria.
Our walk continues along the main pedestrian street of Plovdiv to 2 wine bars, where you will taste a total of 5 wines, served with light snacks. The wines will be selected from small family-owned Bulgarian wine cellars, and the wine specialist will introduce you to the wealth of local and international varieties in Bulgaria, the wine regions, the wines themselves, and their producers.
