Good to Know

You will discover our traditions and learn tips about our cuisine, passed down from generation to generation You'll practice under the guidance of a local professional chef and learn new cooking techniques that you can use at home. Vegetarians are very welcome. Our enthusiastic chefs will guide you through the creation of a 3-course Portuguese meal. You'll be cooking alongside a small group of classmates from around the world, sharing laughter, wine, and local snacks throughout the cooking lesson. To cap off the experience, you'll enjoy the menu you prepared paired with excellent Portuguese wines. One can not loose the opportunity to learn about the Portuguese cuisine while in Portugal. Please let us know in advance if you have any other dietary restrictions so we can see if we can accommodate them.

Our enthusiastic chefs will guide you through the creation of a 3-course Portuguese meal. You'll be cooking alongside a small group of classmates from around the world, sharing laughter, wine, and local snacks throughout the cooking lesson. To cap off the experience, you'll enjoy the menu you prepared paired with excellent Portuguese wines. One can not loose the opportunity to learn about the Portuguese cuisine while in Portugal. Your menu includes typical Portuguese appetizers, which may change with the season to ensure fresh and flavorful results. The main dish—whether seafood, fish, or meat (vegetarian options available). The meal concludes with a delightful traditional Portuguese dessert. Our hands-on cooking classes are conducted in English by our local, trained chefs. They'll immerse you in a genuine Portuguese gastronomic adventure, sharing their knowledge, personal experiences, and culinary tips and techniques. Join our team of Portuguese chefs to cook up some of the most traditional Portuguese recipes. Don't worry about memorizing them, we'll send you digital recipes to your email then, so you can replicate them at home and share it with your family and friends.

Cooking class in Lisboa..

This was the best cooking class ever…. The staff was amazing and the menu was spectacular.. cheese selection with wine (lots of wine) while we prepared the meal. Followed by soup, cod fritters (my description), rice with shredded duck baked with chorizo slices followed by a delectable dessert topped with plum sauce.. simply delicious!! The group worked well together.. a good time by all!

Chef Maham is a very experienced chef who walked us through a fun and informative preparation of a traditional Portuguese dinner.. my wife and I both cook a lot, but learned a few new tricks and enjoyed an evening of conversation, cooking and feasting.

Our favorite experience...

Our favorite experience of our honeymoon trip! Patricia and Elsa made us feel so comfortable cooking the new dishes, it felt as if cooking with family. They provided great stories and details about Portuguese culture and cuisine and the wine was fantastic as well. A very welcoming and friendly experience, and sitting down to eat the food we made and converse with them was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. Could not recommend this enough!
