The perfect tour for a full-day escape from the city! Start with a dive into Barcelona’s history before heading to the stunning Montserrat Mountain. Explore the Basilica with one of our expert, local guides. Enjoy guided walks in your small-group tour and free time to explore at your own pace, from a hike to St. Michael’s Cross to a Boy's Choir performance (tickets not included). Next, we’ll visit a family-owned castle-winery, dating back to 964AD! Here, you’ll tour the estate, enjoy a multi-course regional meal, and taste three local wines, all produced sustainably. Not sure what to choose? Get extended free time in Montserrat (2.5 hours) with the 8:30 am departure, or a scenic ride on the Cogwheel Train (9:45 am departure). Add-On: VIP Winery Experience - Upgrade your day with exclusive access to the winery's barrel cellar, usually closed to the public. Guided by an expert, taste 3 premium wines in an intimate setting, including samples drawn directly from barrels and foudres.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the option). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
The tour is conducted in English.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Embark on this well-paced full-day experience that will take you from Barcelona city center to the heart of Barcelona’s countryside. Departing early in the morning from Barcelona's North Station, your first destination will be the scenic Monastery of Montserrat. A whole morning of astounding landscape, views and history await in there. After enjoying a one-hour-long tour through the highlights of Montserrat Monastery, you will have more than two hours of free time (with the 8.30am option, 1.5 hours with the 9.45am option). Premium Montserrat and Wine Tasting

This was a great way to experience Montserrat. Anays was a great guide. She was knowledgeable about everything from Barcelona to Montserrat. We arrived in time to go to mass and hear the Montserrat Boys Choir and to see the Black Madonna. Carla was exceptional on the second half of our tour with lunch and wine tasting. The food and wine were delicious. She shared many stories and information. ( for example, don’t bring chips on a picnic date when the wild boars are around 😉)

Fantastic tour !

Our Full-Day Montserrat and Wine Small Group Tour was a terrific day. Guillem was our guide for the tour of Montserrat. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and professional. The history of Montserrat, the Basilica, the short hike to the cross, the museum , and all the scenery was beautiful. Fantastic

Fantastic full day experience - our tour guide, Thais was brilliant - cheerful, knowledgeable and great fun. Montserrat is really worth a trip! Cheese tasting at the top of a mountain, amazing wine, incredible views - what more could you want.
