It was established in 1974 and it has Byzantine architecture, with many arches and bell tower. Its huge exterior, and the unique interior of the temple will leave you speechless.

Skioessa

When travelers visit the Mycenaean Cemetery of Voudeni, they step into one of the most fascinating archaeological landscapes in western Greece. Located on a quiet hillside just outside the city of Patras, Voudeni offers visitors the opportunity to explore a remarkably preserved Mycenaean burial site that dates back more than 3,000 years. A tour of this area combines archaeology, ancient history, nature, and scenic views, giving travelers a deep understanding of how people lived and honored their dead during the Mycenaean period. Unlike large and crowded archaeological sites, Voudeni provides a peaceful and immersive experience. Visitors can walk through the landscape where an entire ancient community once existed, learning about burial customs, architecture, and daily life in the Late Bronze Age.

Archaeological Museum of Patras

Visiting the Archaeological Museum of Patras is one of the most enriching cultural experiences travelers can have during a tour of Patras. The museum is one of the largest archaeological museums in Greece and offers a remarkable journey through thousands of years of history, from prehistoric settlements to the height of Roman civilization. During a guided tour, visitors explore impressive exhibition halls, fascinating artifacts, detailed reconstructions, and beautifully designed spaces that reveal how people lived, worked, and celebrated life in ancient Achaea. The experience combines architecture, storytelling, and archaeology, allowing travelers to understand the long and complex history of the region.

Castle of Patras

When travelers arrive at Patras Castle, they immediately realize that this is not just another historic ruin. It is one of the most impressive landmarks in western Greece and one of the most meaningful viewpoints over the city of Patras. Visiting the castle during a guided tour allows travelers to experience layers of history, architecture, panoramic scenery, and local culture all in one place. The experience usually begins before visitors even enter the castle grounds, because the approach to the fortress already reveals why this location was chosen centuries ago.

Achaia Clauss

When travelers visit Achaia Clauss Winery, they experience far more than a simple wine tasting. The estate is one of the most historic wineries in Greece and feels almost like a small hilltop village dedicated entirely to wine culture, history, and breathtaking views. Located on a green hillside just outside Patras, the winery combines beautiful architecture, underground cellars, museums, and panoramic landscapes. A typical guided tour allows visitors to explore the story of Greek winemaking while tasting some of the country’s most famous wines.
