The town is also famous for the Palio, a thrilling horse race that takes place twice a year

• Lunch & Wine Tasting at a Tuscan Farm

Our first stop will be Siena, a true gem of Tuscany and a city rich in history and charm. Here, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace and enjoy a self-guided tour of this enchanting destination. Before you set off, our expert driver will provide you with basic tips and directions to help you navigate Siena with ease and make the most of your visit. Discover the city’s stunning architecture and its famous main square, Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in Italy. Wander through the UNESCO-listed historic center, where every corner tells a story. And don’t forget, Siena is home to the legendary Palio—a thrilling horse race held twice a year that captivates visitors from all over the world. Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm

After Siena, we’ll head to a charming Tuscan farm for an unforgettable lunch and Chianti wine tasting. Nestled on a panoramic hilltop, this stunning farm shares the rich traditions of Italian wine and cuisine with the world. This is not just a meal; it’s an authentic experience, where you’ll discover the perfect harmony between fine wine and exquisite food. “Wine Tasting and Lunch at the Farm” includes: • Tuscan Lunch: A feast of traditional delicacies: bruschettas, handmade pasta, cold cuts, Pecorino cheese, and more. • Wine Tastings: Sample exceptional Tuscan wines: Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Sangiovese, Vernaccia, and Super Tuscan. • Extra Tastings: Artisanal flavors: extra virgin olive oil, pepper-infused olive oil, truffle oil, and aged balsamic vinegar. San Gimignano

In the early afternoon, we’ll visit San Gimignano (self-guided tour of about 1 hour). San Gimignano, a charming walled medieval hill town near Siena, is famously called the “Town of Fine Towers”. Once home to over 70 towers during the Middle Ages, it now feels like an open-air museum, transporting visitors back in time. The town is also celebrated for its saffron, the Golden Ham, and the renowned Vernaccia di San Gimignano—a white wine made from ancient Vernaccia grapes grown on the area's sandstone hills. While in the main square, don’t miss the chance to try the “world’s best gelato” at Gelateria Dondoli. Strolling through the streets, you’ll also marvel at the exceptional craftsmanship of local artisans. At the end of the visit, we’ll return to Livorno Port by 5:30 PM.
