Austin Lane, West Lane and other areas: an unexpected surprise when wandering Darwin's city streets is the murals that adorn the walls of our laneways. Since 2017, the Darwin Street Art Festival has brought vibrancy and colour to the city's walls, with international, national and local artists contributing to the large-scale art gallery. The Old Town Hall

On Christmas Eve 1974, after almost a century enduring tropical conditions and 64 air raids during World War II, Darwin's Town Hall literally started crumbling during Cyclone Tracy. The heritage building—erected 14 years after European settlers arrived in the region in 1869—was damaged beyond repair by the natural disaster, as was much of the city. Some of our tours will have photo opportunities at this heritage-listed site, a testament to the destructive power of the cyclone that destroyed much of Darwin.

Darwin Waterfront Precinct

This is a great place to find gourmet food and drink, not to mention that it’s set on a beautiful lagoon on Darwin Harbour. Our tour is constantly changing and we feature different establishments on different days of the week. Street Art, delicious food and fun and friendly hosts makes for a great night out in Darwin!

I recently was lucky enough to experience this fantastic 3-Hour Outback Gourmet Food & Art Tour of Darwin. Our lovely hosts Darrel and Chris were authentic, fun and knowledgeable, and certainly know how to pick the best spots in town to dine! A great tour

A great way to see and experience Darwin. Though it was a rainy day, we got to see lots of interesting sights. Yvonne and Johnno were great tour guides. The WW2 Darwin War museum was very informative, with the guides showing us the interesting points. A visit to the USS Cleary sight and laying a wreath in memory of the American sailors who died there was heart warming. The food stops were well planned. A great experience even for locals!!

We had a great time on this tour. We have lived in Darwin for the past 6 years and walk past the street art daily, but we never knew the stories behind them OR the fact that they are interactive on an app!! That is such a fantastic experience! To top it off, the food we had was amazing and at two of our favourite places, so this made it even more enjoyable. Thankyou to our tour guide Richard, it was a lot of fun 😊
