Depart from Matera for a half day to discover the authentic flavors of Altamura! Start with a comfortable private transfer and get ready for a unique experience.


The first stop is Caseificio Dicecca, where you can taste the finest cheeses and learn the ancient production techniques directly from the master cheesemakers.


Continue with a visit to a historic bakery to taste the famous Altamuran focaccia, freshly baked. Then, stroll through the historic center of Altamura, exploring its narrow streets and the Monastery of Santa Chiara. Do not miss the opportunity to taste the famous “tits of the nuns”, typical sweets, accompanied by Padre Beppe liqueur.


Finally, relax in the nature of the Mercadante Forest, where an al fresco lunch awaits, with fresh cheeses and local delicacies.

We will continue with a walk in the center of Altamura, where you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the past.
