Experience Details
A whiskey tasting for all nationalities and all interest levels. You don’t have to be a connoisseur to enjoy and appreciate it!
At our tutored tastings, we showcase our favourite Irish whiskeys, especially the small batch and hard to find whiskeys from all over the country. The whiskeys we pour, complement the story we tell – the incredible story of Irish whiskey through the ages.
Our small team of Whiskey Specialist Hosts deliver tastings of all sizes here in Ireland, and overseas. We’re tourism people, and we’re whiskey people. Most recently we’ve become ‘Icons of Whisky’! (World Whisky Awards 2025). We deliver relaxed tastings for small groups, max 15 people, it pairs nicely with any distillery visit you do separately. We love questions and our sessions will always turn into a chat, it’s not just us doing the talking! We deliver the tastings in a private space at a central Dublin venue - 'The Snug' at McGrattans Bar at 3pm daily.

We had a big family reunion in Dublin and one of the cousins organised a tutored Whiskey sampling in a pub - SO much fun , it was a real highlight - a great laugh
I love dublin pubs and I really enjoy whiskey so put these two things together and you have one happy lady ! Highly recommend this
This was amazing I didn’t think I’d like the whisky as much as I did, but we were among friends and it made for a very special occasion
We organised this before a family dinner in town. I am not a huge whiskey person, but I must say that even the Irish Whiskey story alone had me entertained. The whiskeys were pretty good too !
