A delicious taste of Tuscany
This was a nice little surprise to find a charming vineyard in San Gimignano that was small and family owned and there for generations. The wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegars was delicious!

Then, settle into a stunning countryside setting with panoramic views of San Gimignano’s medieval towers. You’ll enjoy a guided tasting of four organic wines, each showcasing the essence of our vineyard. To complement the wines, you’ll sample our premium extra virgin olive oils, paired with traditional Tuscan bruschettas and aged pecorino cheeses.
A member of our family, speaking English or Italian, will lead you through this warm and welcoming experience, sharing stories, traditions, and the passion behind every sip and bite.

Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm
Podere la Marronaia is a small family-run farm in San Gimignano dedicated to the cultivation of grapes and olives and the production of wines and extra virgin olive oil. In 2000, all production was converted to an organic method of cultivation that involves the use of only natural products exploiting the natural fertility of the soil and considering the entire ecosystem. As of 2003, all products became organic certified. The wine tasting venue, Sosta Alle Colonne, is located within walking distance from the town center, surrounded by beautiful countryside with a view of the towers of San Gimignano and the Vernaccia vineyard.
The wine tasting includes four wines:
- Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG bio
- Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG organic or bio Rosato IGT Toscano
- Sangiovese IGT Rosso Toscano bio
- Vinsanto and Cantucci
The extra virgin olive oil tasting includes six oils:
- Natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Flavored Oils ( Basil, Garlic, Chili Pepper, White Truffle, Rosemary)
- Bruschette, local cheeses, and little snacks will be supplied during the tasting.

Ótima experiência!
Excelentes vinhos, comida e atendimento, incluindo o atendimento e qualidade dos produtos. Recomendo sempre provavelmente o acetato balsâmico deles. É incrível.

What a great tour
The food, wine staff were wonderful. I had a tour of Senior Citizens who totally enjoyed it. They paired the wine with different foods, such as meat and cheeses, and they sent the first case with no shipping costs! Thank you so much for a very enjoyable time!

Great wine and good Tuscany experience
The wine was great and the pairing with the cheese was well done. The owners are very friendly and this is a great place to taste wine and enjoy Tuscany views. We did have trouble finding it because the wine tasting sign had a different name than the winery. We past by it and had to circle back. Parking is limited.

Delicious sparkling rose & very good value
The wines were delicious - particularly a sparkling rose made from 100% sangiovese grapes - and the tasting board was very big! The setting was also very peaceful overlooking San Gimignano, which was easy and quick to visit afterwards. Our guide was helpful, friendly and smiley. Would recommend to anyone visiting San Gimignano.
