Guests sail from Heraklion to Dia Island onboard Princess Elena, enjoy time to swim and relax in clear waters, and then take part in a guided tasting of 5 selected Cretan wines. Unlike a standard boat trip, the focus is on Crete’s wine culture. A professional enologist/sommelier presents local grape varieties, terroir and winemaking traditions, while guests enjoy local cheese, olives and seasonal fruit onboard. This is ideal for couples, friends and small private groups looking for a premium, relaxed and personal experience that combines sailing, sea views, local flavors and authentic Cretan wine culture.

The experience begins at the Old Venetian Port of Heraklion, where guests board the sailing yacht Princess Elena for a private cruise to Dia Island. After anchoring in a peaceful bay, guests can swim, snorkel, sunbathe or simply relax onboard. The highlight of the experience is a private guided tasting of 5 selected Cretan wines onboard. A professional enologist/sommelier introduces guests to Crete’s wine heritage, local grape varieties, terroir and winemaking traditions. The tasting is paired with local cheese, olives and seasonal fruit, creating an intimate Cretan food and wine experience at sea. After the tasting, guests enjoy a relaxing return sailing trip back to Heraklion.
