What It Is: A 5.0 star rated Private Wine Tour with a knowledgeable host and exclusive access to boutique, elevated wineries. This is your day, based on your private group’s preferences. What It’s Not: No public wineries or crowded bar tasting rooms. No Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties. What’s Included: All tasting fees, exclusive access to premium wineries, a made-to-order organic lunch, and transportation in a Tesla X SUV (4 guests) or Luxury Mercedes Van (5-8 guests). Our locally owned and operated tour is built around private boutique vineyards, elevated wines, and premium winemakers and their stories. We are a 5.0 star rated wine tour company with thousands of reviews on Google and Yelp and in business since 2007.

We pick up and bring you back to All Santa Barbara Area hotels or residences (AirBnB or VRBO). We pick up directly from your location for our Wine Tour which can include hotels or homes. If you are not staying at a hotel, we also pick up at residences (AirBnB, etc). If you are driving up from Los Angeles (or other cities out of the area) just for the day, we can arrange to meet at a central location in downtown Santa Barbara (easy off the freeway). This location is typically Hotel Californian. Please put this in your pick up location when driving up for the day and we'll reply with exact pick up time once tour is confirmed. The Santa Barbara area includes: Santa Ynez, Solvang, Naples, Isla Vista, Goleta, Ballard, Buelton, Los Olivos Las Cruces, Gaviota, Capitan, Solvang, Gaviota, Isla Visita, Goleta, Misson Canyon, Montecito, Summerland and more.

Fabulous wine tasting day trip from Santa Barbara!

We had a great day with Sustainable Wine Tours! Scott is a pro, and he added so many special touches to our day. He worked with me to choose wineries that were a good fit for our group; made our picnic lunch classy with ceramic plates, silverware, and table decorations; prepared a lovely snack board for each couple at our last stop and surprised us with birthday desserts in honor of my dad! Excellence!

A truly top-tier wine touring experience. Our guide was Carlos Mascherin. He brought unmatched regional knowledge, wine expertise, and genuine charm to the day. We instantly felt like we would be friends who would go to dinner with Carlos! The selected wineries were stunning, and the lunch was both delicious and sophisticated. Five stars!

Fantastic Wine Tour with Karina

I had such a great time on the Sustainable Wine Tour. Karina was an amazing guide with great energy, a lot of wine knowledge, and a really thoughtful approach to the whole experience. She chose a great range of wines for us to try and also put together such a good charcuterie board, which made the tasting feel even more special. Had a Wonderful Time

Top-notch in every way.

Everything was top-notch. The luxury van was comfortable for traveling. The snacks and lunch were delicious. And the tours themselves were so personable and exclusive. It was so special to know where the wine was made and who was making it and the family stories behind them all. Scott was a wonderful guide. This is forever the tour I will measure all other tours against.
