Discover Hotel Chocolat's Bean to Bar experience, created especially for chocolate lovers who would like to gain delicious insider knowledge. You'll taste fresh cacao-pulp, hear the history of cacao, sample Rabot Estate Chocolate and learn how to transform roasted cacao beans into your very own chocolate bar.
While you're there, taste Hotel Chocolat's famous Cacao Cuisine, served street-food style, and an array of cocktails at The Cacao Bar - all enjoyed overlooking the lush nature of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch is ONLY included in the Tree to Bar tour price, but can be purchased as an add-on to the Bean to Bar experience upon arrival.
Finish your experience at Project Chocolat by treating yourself (or loved ones back home) to more chocolate and our cacao beauty & alcohol ranges, found on our retail platform.

Perfection
This was a superb all day tour which combined a catamaran sail, chocolate making, sulphur mud bath experience, snorkelling and sunset sail home. Our taxi pick up was on time with a friendly driver and staff who guided us through the day were helpful and informative. The Project Chocolate experience took us from bean to bar with a clear explanation of the cultivation of the cocoa plant on St Lucia, processing the nibs and a chance to make your own bar of chocolate. Fantastic Experience!
Our tour guide, Tejanie, made this trip truly memorable! He was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. His explanations were clear, and nothing ever felt rushed, which was especially important for me as I am currently recovering from a broken leg. Chocolate making tour from the farm to the table
This was the best experience and would highly recommend. Our guide was very informative and charismatic. We saw the cocoa tree nurseries, then walked around their gardens and learned about the cacao & coffee trees and various plants. We tasted fresh cocoa seeds, then had a very fun chocolate making class. I would recommend this it was 100/10 experiences.

Great experience, but be prepared for the heat and walking
A great experience overall. The day was very hot, and we didn’t realise how much walking and how many stairs were involved, so some people with health conditions struggled. Hotel Chocolat should consider putting fans in the area where the groups make chocolate. The prices in the shops were only a couple of pounds cheaper than in the UK, so there wasn’t much incentive to buy anything.
