Experience Details

Discover a new and often overlooked side of the Eternal City on a 4-hour guided tour. You will have the chance to sample fresh ingredients and authentic dishes, such as cured meats, vegetables, pizza, pasta and sweet treats. Our expert local guide will lead you to the discover of the Old Jewish Quarter and the nearby Portico of Octavia. Then, you will take a leisurely walk through the lively Campo de' Fiori, home to a colorful market, and Piazza Navona, where you will see three monumental fountains and many important buildings. Our tour will end in the archaeological area of Largo di Torre Argentina, that you will reach after you've had your fill. Come with us and eat your way through Rome!

The Jewish Quarter of Rome is one of the oldest in Europe, as it dates back to the 16th century. We will pass by beautiful synagogues and stop in local restaurants to sample mouth-watering Roman delicacies.

The Portico Of Octavia

This complex was dedicated to Ottavia, the sister of Emperor Augustus. It originally included two temples, two libraries and a large meeting space. In the Middle Ages it became home to the fish market, and subsequently incorporated in the area of the Jewish Ghetto.
