Travelers will explore many of Old Town’s most iconic buildings while discovering their rich historical significance. The tour also highlights native agave plants growing along the route—some of which are traditionally used to produce agave distillates like tequila. Visitors will stop at vibrant Mexican shops and enjoy a freshly made, handmade tortilla. A key part of the experience includes learning about the history of tequila and its ties to San Diego. The guide will lead the group to the Tequila Museum inside El Agave Restaurant and Tequilería, home to over 2,000 different tequilas.
