Guests will be welcomed at one of San Gimignano’s historic wine houses, just a few steps from Piazza della Cisterna. The experience begins with the discovery of our ancient wine cave, once used to preserve wine and local products. As evening falls, the cave is illuminated exclusively by candlelight and becomes the intimate setting for a private Tuscan dinner. Throughout the experience, our Wine Expert will guide guests through a selection of Poggio ai Laghi wines, Extra Virgin Olive Oils, and signature balsamic vinegars, explaining their characteristics and ideal pairings. During the dinner, guests will enjoy traditional Tuscan specialties, from local cured meats and pecorino cheese to homemade lasagna, a traditional meat course, and cantuccini paired with Vin Santo. The experience also includes the story of Countess Ava and her seven handmaidens, the figures who inspire the Poggio ai Laghi wine collection. An intimate journey through Tuscan wine, food, and history, experienced by candlelight inside one of San Gimignano’s most fascinating historic spaces.
