Discover two of Bordeaux’s most distinctive white wine regions in one private experience. Compare the elegant, mineral-driven dry whites of Pessac-Léognan with the world-famous sweet wines of Sauternes, shaped by the unique Botrytis cinerea “noble rot.” Led by a WSET Level 3 certified guide, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the region’s diverse terroirs, winemaking traditions, and the remarkable contrast between these two iconic appellations.

Sauternes
9:30 – Departure from Bordeaux
Meet your guide and along the way, enjoy beautiful vineyard landscapes while learning about the history of Bordeaux, its renowned appellations, and the region’s winemaking traditions.
11:00 – Visit to a first winery
Visit a carefully selected winery in famous Pessac Leognan or Graves regions of Bordeaux. Enjoy a guided tour of the estate, discover the winemaking process from vineyard to bottle, and finish with a tasting of the château’s wines.
12:30 – Lunch Break
Enjoy free time for lunch at a charming local restaurant in the region (meal at your own expense).
15:00 – Visit to a Second Winery
Continue your journey with a visit to a second prestigious château in Sauternes. Learn about a different winemaking philosophy, and enjoy guided tasting showcasing the diversity of sweet wines.
16:00 – Return to Bordeaux
Relax on the drive back to Bordeaux and your guide will answer any remaining questions.
17:00 back to your accommendation and say bye to your guide)
