There's no better way to understand Barcelona than through its food culture. This is not your typical cooking class. This is a recreation of a real Catalan paella celebration. Join a 2-hour culinary experience led by a passionate local Catalan chef and the Kampada team: a young, Barcelona-born company built around the belief that the best moments happen around a table. This isn't a typical cooking class where you're chopping vegetables for two hours. It's a social, guided experience where you'll learn the secrets behind authentic Spanish paella and traditional tapas, get your hands in where it counts, and sit down together to enjoy everything you've made. Here's the twist: the kitchen splits into two teams – Team Seafood and Team Chicken – each crafting their own authentic Catalan paella side by side. While your paella simmers, snack on a tasting board of Iberian cured meats and local cheeses from different regions of Spain, always alongside a good Catalan's best friend: pa amb tomàquet. Once both paellas are ready, everyone sits down together to taste both versions and decide with the chef which team takes the win.
STARTER
"Pa amb tomàquet"

Had a Blast!!!

Eduardo was wonderful! Being hands on with the cooking experience and sangria making was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The friendly competition of making the best paella between three groups was a nice bonus. Not only was it a cooking class, it brought many people together that have never met and made connections you never thought you would! Highly recommend! We had a blast!!

Paula was a great chef. I learned a lot of new skills that I will take to my own kitchen from her. Please go if you get the chance.

More than just a cooking class!

Went with friends and ended up cooking with people from all over the world, such a vibe! This isn't your typical cooking class, it's a real experience. The chef and hosts are super fun and welcoming, you learn actual techniques (finally nailed the sofrito!), and the whole thing just flows super natural. Sangria, laughs, and at the end we ate the most delicious paella we'd made ourselves. They make you feel right at home. A must-do in Barcelona!
