This Wine Tour is the most dynamic and unique experience designed to please the most diverse of groups. This tour includes it all; Wine, Micro-brews, Artisan Raw Chocolates, and a delicious lunch. Whether you are interested in local wines or micro-brews, we have you covered. Various lunch options that include a delicious lunch paired with local wines at Merkin Osteria or if you prefer to pair your lunch with some local beers, then we recommend Belfry Brewery. Of course there are many more food choices based on your interests and palate. Whatever your palate and interests, your experienced guide will curate your tour to meet your individual desires. From vineyards to tasting rooms, breweries to restaurants, artisan raw chocolate shops; we take you to the best offerings available throughout the Verde Valley. This extraordinary experience covers the entire Verde Valley allowing you to enjoy your tour at your own pace with complete flexibility along the way.

Lunch is included in this tour. Most often we go to Merkin Osteria but due to the personalized nature of this tour, lunch can be at a local Vineyard, tasting room, or micro-brewery as well.

Wine or beer beyond included 4 flights is not included. Glasses and bottles are at customers expense

Alcantara Vineyards and Winery

Guests will enjoy a VIP wine tasting with included souvenir glass. If they wish to get a walking tour of the beautiful property, we offer that as well. This includes seeing the onsite Chapel, the beach on the banks of the Verde River as well as the confluence of Oak Creek and the Verde River, and (subject to Alcantara staff availability) going into the barrel room and learning how wine is made.

What goes better with wine than artisan chocolates made right here in Sedona. Thankfully Sedona has several chocolate shops, each making their unique style of chocolate. What they all have in common is that they are hand made, organic, and are sweetened with alternatives to cane sugar so they are more healthy and low glycemic. Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery & Trattoria

For tours that include lunch, this is a customer favorite! They feature hand made pasta, locally sourced farm-to-table vegetables, and a diverse selection wine made by a local celebrity wine maker. The owner is the lead singer of the bands Tool, Pucifer, and A Perfect Circle. While here, included in the lunch portion of the tour, customers get to choose from any one pasta dish, salad, or appetizer and the wine flight of their choice. DA Ranch

DA Ranch Vineyard is one of the most beautiful vineyards in the area. Although the vineyard is quite small, at only about nine acres, the property itself is quite vast encompassing nearly 350 acres. With a beautiful natural spring that feeds a tranquil pond where guests may enjoy their wines, it is an idealic stop to make while touring around the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Stunning Wine Tour

We did the tour over Valentine’s Day weekend. The private tour was all about what we wanted to see and experience. We had the freedom to go to a different vineyard if we didn’t like the one we were at. Our Tour guide Jim helped us out with information about the wines and the vineyards during the wine tasting. As we drove along the area he told us some history of the area. We would definitely do this again.

Juan rocks!

Juan was absolutely amazing! Us college friends had so much fun with him and at all of our stops. We ending up having dinner at Merkin and the food was delicious. Each winery was yummy and beautiful. Thanks Juan for an amazing time! Would do this everyday if we could! Amazing weather, amazing friends, amazing wine and an amazing guide!
