What You’ll Experience

Participants will learn fabulous collection of beloved authentic Singapore dishes. The hands-on class will feature aromatic spices and fresh ingredients that will create the well-loved dishes of Singapore. There will be two selections for the class. Choice 1: 1) Bak Kut Teh – how to marinate, boil, simmer the spare ribs, rich and robust flavour soup. 2) Salted Vegetable - learn how to cook crunchy pickled veggies. 3) Kueh Talam- bite-size snack that has 2 layers, top green layer made from pandan leaves and rich taste coconut milk. Bottom layer made from pure palm sugar, rice flour and hoon kueh powder. Choice 2: 1) Chicken Rice – how to boil chicken broth, making of chilli sauce, sweet dark soy and ginger sauce. 2) Achar - learn how to make tangy pickled vegetable as a perfect side to complement the chicken rice. 3) Kueh Talam- bite-size snack that has 2 layers, top green layer made from pandan leaves and rich taste coconut milk. Bottom layer made from pure palm sugar, rice flour and hoon kueh powder. Durations: 3 Hours Timing: 9:30am to 12:30pm Class conducts only on Friday, twice a month from 26 July 2019.
