What You’ll Experience

1

Shelburne Vineyard

Our first destination is Shelburne Vineyard. Their tasting room features Vermont-grown and Vermont-made wines and ciders, ranging from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. For over two decades, Shelburne Vineyard has been a pioneer and advocate of the Vermont wine region. Their goal is to elevate Vermont as a distinctive wine and cider region. We love their barn-style building and the patio seating with a view of the vineyard. Enhance your visit with local cheeses, charcuterie, jams, cured meats, and locally made crackers.

2

Charlotte Village Winery

Next, we visit Charlotte Village Winery, established in 2001 by fourth-generation Vermonters. They began with blueberry wines from their 10-acre field and now produce various wines from both fruits and grapes. Sampling their wines while overlooking the blueberry fields and enjoying the Adirondack Mountains from their tasting deck is a delight. The warm, family-oriented atmosphere provides a unique experience.

Dakin Farm

A trip to Vermont wouldn’t be complete without stopping at a sugarhouse or farm store. Dakin Farm offers some of the finest Vermont-made products in their store, and their sugarhouse has been boiling sap every season for over 58 years! Explore all grades of pure Vermont maple syrup and watch a short educational video about its production. Dakin Farm also features cob-smoked meats, artisan Vermont cheeses, specialty gifts, and more.

Lincoln Peak Vineyard

Next, we head to Lincoln Peak Vineyard, a vine nursery specializing in hybrid grapes. The vineyard’s unique care for their vines, buildings, and overall geography and climate makes it a special place. The owners are committed to preserving the vineyard’s heritage and crafting exceptional wines. We love their delicious wines and the beautiful view from the porch overlooking a small pond. Enjoy your wine tasting with a local cheese and charcuterie plate for a complete experience.

Woodchuck Cider House

Our final stop is Woodchuck Hard Cider, produced by the Vermont Hard Cider Company in Middlebury. In 2011, it was the top-selling hard cider in the country. Woodchuck Hard Cider’s core varieties provide an authentic and unique cider experience for connoisseurs. With 20 ciders on tap and a large, charming barn tasting room, this location provides the perfect finish to the day. This tour concludes with a return to your original pick-up location.
