Bellagio, situated at the tip of a scenic promontory where Lake Como splits in two, is one of its most iconic and beloved destinations. Begin your journey from Milan by private car/minivan. In Bellagio, meet your private guide and board a traditional wooden taxi-boat for a delightful cruise along the coast. Pass charming villages such as Tremezzo and Varenna and gently cruise around the Bellagio peninsula, surrounded by mountains and sparkling waters. Disembark to visit Villa Melzi d'Eril, a neoclassical jewel built in the early 1800s for Duke Francesco Melzi d'Eril. Stroll through its English gardens, a serene blend of exotic plants, classical sculptures and lake views.

Back in Bellagio's historic center, stroll through cobblestone alleys lined with craft stores and boutiques. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of Italian wines paired with traditional cured meats and cheeses at a cozy local winery. At the end, return to Milan by private car/minivan.

Villa Melzi d'Eril

At Villa Melzi d'Eril, you will be surrounded by a fine balance of art, history and nature. Strolling through the English-style gardens that stretch gently along the shores of the lake, they will admire a rich botanical variety, centuries-old trees, exotic plants, neoclassical sculptures and decorative pavilions. The path winds through shady pathways, water features and breathtaking views, with privileged glimpses of Lake Como. Inside the neoclassical chapel and the ancient greenhouse of orange trees turned into a small museum, you can discover the history of the Melzi family and the role of Duke Francesco Melzi d'Eril in the Napoleonic period.
