Established in 2011, San Juan Artisan Distillers, located in the coastal town of Vega Alta, is the first and only Sugarcane Estate Distillery in Puerto Rico. Unique in its kind, we grow, harvest, ferment, and distill Sugarcane juice from Puerto Rican Heirloom varietals in the French Cognac Potstills. RON PEPÓN, an award-winning “Ron Agrícola” made 100 percent from the Estate Sugarcane juice. TRESCLAVOS Ron Caña, also an award-winning rum inspired by Puerto Rican tradition, a Ron Caña of exceptional quality infused with Locally Farmed Tropical Fruits. San Juan Artisan Distillers is a farm to bottle distillery. In the northeast of Puerto Rico.

Enjoy a tropical welcome drink prepared with our award winning TRESCLAVOS rum! While enjoying your cocktail, our guide will take you through a brief history of our Puerto Rican heritage in our Casa Pepón Visitors Center. Afterwards, visit our Aging Bodega, Sugarcane Estate and Sugarcane Mill. Then we journey into our distillery, production area and learn about our unique rum distillation in our French Cognac Pot Stills. Lastly, we head back to Casa Pepón for more fun with our artisanal Rum Tasting session! After the Rum tasting, browse our curated Gift Shop at Casa Pepón Visitors Center.

We had a great time! So...

We had a great time! So interesting learning and seeing first hand how the sugarcane is grown, processed and distilled, then bottled and labeled. Farm to table at its best. We got to meet the owner too! Our tour guide, Andriana, was amazing and funny! I highly recommend this tour.

Best rum!

My family and I had such a fun time! Adriana was amazing! She made the experience unforgettable and she was very attentive. I enjoyed learning about the history of the distillery and touring. The rum tasting was delicious! Best rum I've ever had. I'm so glad my husband booked. We also met some fun people from London and Paris! Hi ladies!

Fun for learning and tasting!!

Amazing experience so informational and fun to walk through the facility!! Great to taste the dry rums and infusion rums!!
