You´ll visit closest vineyard to Dubrovnik with magnificent sunset above mountains and Adriatic sea. While hiking toward vineyard discover our tradition of cultivating land. Taste walnut liqueur, breathe fresh air and prepare to taste olive oil and craft white wine of Vardia. You´ll be guided by craft wine expert and vineyard owner.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset over a glass of the craft wine among surrounded by vines and olive trees. The unique location is Malaštica Hill, 400 metres above the Adriatic Sea, only a 15-min drive from the Dubrovnik Old Town and near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. You will be picked up from your hotel or a meeting point and driven to the foothills of Malaštica (Vardia). There is an easy hike through the old forest while breathing fresh mountain air filled with the scents of wild Mediterranean bushes, flowers and herbs to the biggest classroom in the world. I will share with you the knowledge I’ve accumulated for years through education and working with my father and grandfather. You will see (and touch) our olive trees and vines and find out about the cultivation and production of oil and wine. In the peaceful surroundings, as the sun goes down, you will experience the spectacular view of Župa Dubrovačka, which has been the green garden of Dubrovnik for centuries. After the sun disappears on the horizon, we’ll walk back to the car and you’ll be taken back to your accommodation.*For children or below 18 years old, we have water or seasonal fruit juice*

Chilled evening of wine, food and good company

A lovely chilled evening, we were picked up from close to our apartment and arrived at sunset, such an interesting couple and fantastic wine and food. There love for the land and what they do is obvious and they are great hosts. A nice group of 20 people all enjoyed a very relaxed evening and we were driven back to our apartment. Sadly there was no wine to buy on the night, we would have bought all 3 !

A return visit – September 2026 🍷

Ivica and his lovely wife Dominika made our return visit extra special. Their passion for the family business, with an incredible 350-year history, really shines through. This time we were part of a larger group, but it didn’t detract from the experience at all. We spent a wonderful few hours tasting their wines, enjoying homemade nibbles and watching another beautiful sunset. Good wine, great company, warm hospitality and a truly special family story. Heaven. 🍷🌅

Vineyard tours

This tour was amazing and would highly recommend. My wife and I travel a lot and love wine. This was one of our favorite vineyards and tastings. The wine is amazing but the stars of the show were the hosts. If you want an amazing sunset, some awesome wines and to be treated like family this tour is for you

Lovely evening with newly met friends

We had a lovely evening with Ivica and Dominika high in the hills above Mlini. They are warm, welcoming hosts and as they do all the hard work themselves, they are able to share an authentic snapshot of what it takes to farm vines and olive trees in this environment. The wines, oil, bread and snacks were all homemade and shared with us with love and care - and many laughs! Highly recommend.

Fantastic!

Fantastic experience with wine tasting at the vineyards on the mountain slope above Mlini. Dominica and Ivica were wonderful hosts, they offered nice wines and snacks. Can really be recommended!
