Lavaux Vineyard Terraces

Lavaux is famous among different countries as a terraced wine-grape growing region in the canton of Vaud, western Switzerland. Vaud region produces the quarter quantity of all the Swiss wine, which symbolizes the culture of this region and essential part of the everyday life. Lavaux extends over Lausanne to Montreux, reaching an altitude of 500 meters above sea level and involving several tiny villages and the City of Vevey. Besides, in 2007 Lavaux has been acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region is best known for the production of fresh and fruity dry white wine from the Chasselas grapes.

Fantastic!

Eric was a wonderful guide. Very friendly. Enjoyed the drive around Lake Geneva with a stop in Evian, France. He was a delight! Highly recommend this tour.

Private Tour You Will Love

This is one of the best tours out to the wineries and our driver Eric was over the top incredible. His knowledge, humor and personality left us wanting to book him for every private tour. Book the private tour is worth the money and created a flexibility in scheduling. Highly recommend booking this tour and hell while you’re at it request Eric if possible. Spend the money and create lasting memories. We lived in Geneva 50 years ago and this tour brought us back to so many fond memories.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever seen.

Driving through the area was wonderful. The vineyards overlooking Lake Geneva is breathtaking and something you will never forget. It would be very difficult to traverse without a guide if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Plus, if you’re wine tasting, having a driver is awesome!
